Located close to the City of Olomouc at the cadastral area of Hněvotín and Olomouc-Slavonín, the Technology Park Olomouc-Hněvotín offers a unique development locality within the Olomouc Region.

The TPO is a an integrated area owned by a private developer that offers 950.000 m2 of development areas prepared for accommodation of investment plans especially in innovative clean technologies, processing industry and light-industry production, strategic services, shared services centers, administration, storehouses and storage areas.

The Technology Park came into being thanks to several years of cooperation between the construction and development company GEMO OLOMOUC, spol. s r.o., the Statutory City of Olomouc, the Olomouc Region and the Investment and Business Development Agency CzechInvest.

The project is a natural reaction to the long-term lack of freely available business areas in the so-called “business triangle” (Olomouc, Přerov and Prostějov). The insufficient offer of business properties intended for implementation of investment plans has been long restricting the investment activity of local enterprises and the ability to localize new external investments, which has reflected in the reduced competitiveness of the Central Moravia and consequently of the entire Olomouc Region.

The Technology Park offers the investors an area prepared in accordance with the regional planning documentation and suitable for accommodation and implementation of business plans bringing an added value to this region in a form of new and attractive job opportunities, modern technologies, higher productivity of labour and production capacity and competitiveness of regional economy.
